Background
Cindy was born in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and has spent most of her life there with the exception of attending the University of Alaska, Anchorage where she obtained her Computer Science degree and met her husband Dave.
Cindy started her career in public accounting working as a Management Consultant for Ernst & Young CPA’s in 1987 in Alaska. After moving back to Michigan in 1989 Cindy worked in various capacities, as a Computer Programmer, System Analyst, and a Self Employed Computer Analyst.
Cindy stepped away from the work force for a number of years to focus on raising her two sons, Sam and Josh. Now that both have graduated from the University of Michigan College of Engineering, she has taken on the role of Support Coordinator at her husband’s practice at LPL Financial.
Personal
When not in the office Cindy enjoys anything to do with nature, animals and fitness; spending most of her free time hiking trails of the Upper Peninsula, doing yoga or playing with her boxer, Remi.
Words to Live By
"If you don't have your health, you don't have anything." This has been said to her many times from a very special woman in her life, her mother-in-law.
Cindy says this quote always makes her stop and think of how important health is to living a viable, happy life. She thanks her mother-in-law for her continuing efforts to exercise and eat healthily on a daily basis.
