Remi, Office Mascot

Background

Remi is our laid-back, brindle-coated boxer and part-time office mascot. Since her parents are avid outdoor-people, she was welcomed into the family with much excitement as a companion on nightly walks and weekend excursions. To their dismay, she would roll over onto her back, or run and hide when the word ‘walk’ was mentioned during the first few months in her new home. She now gets her daily exercise with less reluctance, but still isn’t overly thrilled.

Education

She has not attended college but has watched her 2 older brothers come and go many times to this mysterious place. She is elated to see them, no matter how long it’s been in-between, but she is exceptionally sad when they pack up to leave. She often dreams of higher education for herself one day, but has not achieved this lofty goal as of yet. She loves to sleep, and rarely makes it into the office.

Words to Live By

I love rawhide bones but eat them too quickly, resulting in choking and gagging. Consequently, my mom and dad no longer give them to me, and I miss them terribly. So, my words of wisdom – “Slow down and chew your food!”
